The five most healthy foods you can eat to lose weight

Losing weight is not an easy task, but it can be if you toss in healthy foods in your normal diet. Here are five of the different types of foods that I eat on a daily basis to lose weight.

1. FRUITS

Fruits are one of the most healthiest foods that you can eat. There is a variety of fruits out there like strawberries, melon, blue berries, oranges, bananas, grapes, grapefruit, and etc. If you want to have to have a huge dose of fruits in one sitting, then I suggest you make a fruit salad, or you can eat one or two fruits a day!

2. SALADS

Salads are very healthy to eat, especially if you control the ingredients. If you go out to eat at a fast food restaurant you have the option of having your chicken grilled or crispy. I suggest you go for the grilled, and save the crispy chicken for later on when you treat yourself for your hard work! A delicious salad that I tried a few months ago included chopped Iceberg lettuce, orange slices, grilled chicken, and Ceasar Salad dressing. The beauty of home made salads is that you can combine anything you want in it to make it a meal you want to keep trying over and over again!

3. FISH

You can find fish pretty much any restaurant that you go to. Every fish is healthy especially if its grilled! To add more to your fish (whether its salmon, lobster, crab,and etc.) you can combine it with a side of rice, vegetables, mashed potatoes, and more. Fish is a huge part of protein which is necessary to have in your body!

4. GREENS

In addition to salads, it is important to have greens in your daily diet. Greens are very important because they provide you with a large amount of vitamins and nutrients! If you are curious about what greens I am talking about, here you go. Greens include string beans, broccoli, spinach, celery, and any vegetable that is green falls under this category. Make sure you at least have greens in one of your meals during the day!

5. PASTA SALAD

Pasta salad is very healthy to eat, especially if you control some of the ingredients like the amount of mayo. Pasta salads also typically include vegetables which are a double treat. You can also used different color noodle pasta like green, orange, and red, which make it even more fun!

So if you want to lose weight, but want to be pushed in the right direction add these foods to your diet and you cant go wrong.
