Cute strong males that women like from "The Originals"!

Hello everyone sorry it has been awhile since I wrote on my blog. I have been very busy, but I decided to get back on track. In this blog post I decided to switch things around and focus on a show that is fresh and many people love, "The Originals"!

"The Originals" just started last Oct. and has been doing extremely well to the point where it was picked up for a season 2! One of the factors that attract people to show is the strong male cast and here they are! Ladies hold yourselves together because these men are hot enough to make your heart pump faster.

1. Joseph Morgan

Joseph Morgan plays Klaus Mikaelson on "The Originals"! He is hot, wicked, lovable, and funny. Over the season he began to grow on me and other viewers as well!

Hello Elijah lol! Daniel Gillies plays Elijah Mikaelson on "The Originals" Elijah is a gentleman, sweet, and funny. He also has a spunky side too which is a just another bonus!

Jasmine's advice on typical relationship questions

Relationships can be confusing and people that I know ask me to provide them with some insight due to my previous relationship experience. Here is my advice on four relationship questions and I hope that they help you too.

1. Can you be friends with an ex boyfriend?
Being friends with an ex boyfriend can be hard especially if you were dating for years and the breakup was tough, but yes you can. Being friends with an ex is something that anyone can tackle with a little time apart from the person first. Now what I mean by that is that after the breakup take some time out for yourself. Get your mind together, try and just focus on you, and when you are ready then hang out with him. When you do spend time together with your ex just remember to set up boundaries that can not be crossed (pretty much so that way any kissing that you did with him or other intimate things don't happen again).

2.Is it a great idea to do the friends with benefits thing with someone that really likes me, but I don't like them?
Being friends with benefits is not a great idea because of the simple fact that you are leading someone on and playing with their emotions. If someone likes you a lot and you don't feel the same way, then just let them know. Friends with benefits is very typical in high school and it makes a girl or women's confidence go down the drain when it comes to men. In high school I have seen a ton of girls get hurt by guys because they led them on and its not cool in any way shape or form. Don't be like the old Chuck Bass from "Gossip Girl".

3. Why did the romance begin to disappear in my relationship?
Romance is something that happens in the beginning of a relationship, but when people get so caught up with work and other responsibilities, it is normal for it to begin to disappear. In order to get that romance back though, you need to try and suggest to your partner that you would like to go on a quick date. Everyone has their own definition of romance, but if he or she has a busy schedule, then I suggest you ask for a lunch or dinner date. Something small and simple that can give you both a little bonding moment. 

4. Is it okay to date someone right after a breakup?
Dating after a breakup is normal, but you should not rush into it. Give yourself some time to fully move on from the breakup. You don't want to date someone so they can just be a rebound. You want to date someone that you really like and if you rush into it and choose anyone under the sun, you will have a miserable time with that person. Give it time and then get back out there. Believe me time to heal will make your dating experience much better and smoother.

5 positive ways on how to deal with stress

Stress is something that everyone goes through, whether it is from work, school, family, friends, and relationships. Here are five positive ways/or methods to deal with everyday stress!

1. Work on an old or new hobby
When you are really stressed out, working on an old activity that you used to enjoy, or trying a new one can you make you feel 1,000 times better! If you like reading or singing Karaoke then go do that. If you like to experiment with new activities and are into decorating, then why not paint a picture, or get a vase with your favorite flowers and add it to your room or office? Do anything to get your mind back to peaceful mode.

2. Hang out with girls
A second great stress reliever is hanging out with your girl friends. Girl friends (true girl friends) will think of any activity that makes you happy, whether that's coming over to make some cocktails, taking you out to a party, having a slumber party, and etc. Girl friends are the best to run to when facing a problem.

3.Go on vacation
Going on vacation is another great stress reliever. There are so many beautiful places around the world that you can visit and so much history waiting at the tip of our fingers. Find a cool place to visit and go have some fun!

4. Have your own date night
Sometimes a woman needs to have their own personal girly time and one way to do so is to have your own date night. I give myself one of these every week. You can choose a film from your DVD collection, cook some food, get something delicious to drink, put your phone away, and relax.

5. Create your own spa
Spas are very soothing and in order to remove away the tension you are experiencing you can give yourself a facial, a hand massage, and etc.

Fantastic outfits to wear during the summer!

For this blog post I decided to do something a little different by doing a fashion article on great outfits that you can try during the summer!

The Summer season may seem annoying when the temperatures are really hot, but here are some fashion ideas to keep in mind so you can cool down on a nice day!

1. Design, plain, and bright color tank tops
Tank tops are perfect for the Summer time. You can wear it in a casual way with just jeans, or shorts, but you can also dress it up with a nice pair of tights, or a skirt.

2. Summer dresses
Summer dresses are great for the season as well. They come in different prints and lengths. You can wear them with a pair of tights, or a cardigan if you like. You can wear them to a casual event, party, or even to work.

3. Lace shirts
If you enjoy old fashioned style clothing, then you are probably a fan of lace designs on clothes. Lace shirts are definitely in for this summer and they look adorable no matter what you pair it with !

4. Jean shirts and jean jackets
Now you may think jean jackets are too hot to wear during the summer, but they are ideal in certain situations. If you are out at the beach with your friends at night the weather gets chilly and instead of tossing on a cardigan you can toss on your jean jacket that will not only keep your arms warm, but enhances your personal fashion style as well! 

Jean shirts are also fun to wear during the summer because you can style it with jeans and wear double denim, or rock it with a nice pair of solid color shorts! Here is a tip if you are going out to the movies, or to the city combine your jean shirt, with a tan belt, black shorts, and a pair of gold sandals. I guarantee that you will get a lot of complements from your friends!

5. Cropped tops or peplum tops
The last couple items on my list for fantastic outfits to wear during the summer are cropped tops and peplum tops. Cropped tops work for women that are small in the top area. They come in different designs like stripes, flowers, animal print, and even plain.

If you are a little bigger at the top and need something that covers more, but that's still stylish you can try a peplum top. Peplum tops come in different designs as well, just like the cropped tops. They are hands down my favorite summer top because its cute and the back flairs out like a dress!

When people go on a date with someone that they really like, you can't help but be super excited, but nervous at the same time. Here are some outfits that are appropriate for date activities such as going to the beach, going to dinner, going to a festival, going to the city, and going to a club.

1. Beach date
When going on a beach date, you want to have a cute pair of shorts, an adorable top, and some sandals. You also need to have a chic bathing suit and towel!

2. Dinner date
If you are going on a dinner date, you want to sport a nice, but casual top, with jeans, or dress pants, and some comfortable flat shoes. Flat shoes are the best for a dinner date because they give off the "I'm classy, but fun and sophisticated look"!

3. Festival date
If you are going to a festival (like a music one), then you definitely want to be as comfortable as possible because most likely you will be sitting on the ground. I suggest that you rock a pair of jeans, with a short sleeve shirt, and some sandals or flipflops. A long summer dress also works with a pair of tights!

4. City date
If you are going to the city and by this I mean New York City, you should definitely wear bright colors and some cool high waist pants, bright summer skirt, with some stylish flat shoes, or high heel shoes. New York City is like the home of fashion and it is important to show off your personality in a loud way!

Last but not least, when you are going to a dance club for a date, go all out with sparkles, sequins, short skirts, jeans, and etc. Just have a great time combining different elements into your outfit!

Ten tips ladies should keep in mind when going on a first date.

Going on first dates can be a bit of a challenge so here are some tips that you can jot down when you are ready to start dating someone new.

1. TO BE RELAXED ON THE FIRST DATE DO SOME PAMPERING
Getting pampered is the best way to relieve all your stress and make you feel like a whole new woman. Set up an appointment at one of your top salons to get a facial, or your nails done. You can even do your own facial and paint your own nails if you are on a budget. The goal is to just feel relaxed during the day so you don't freak out about your date.

2. GET YOUR HAIR DONE 
Most girls get their hair done for special events, so why not get your hair done for a first date? Now I am not talking about getting your hair done all fancy like you are going to a wedding, but something casual, bouncy, cool, and sassy that will make your outfit standout!

3. PUT TOGETHER A STYLISH AND GLAMOROUS OUTFIT FOR YOUR DATE
On your first date not only do you want to have your hair done in a nice way, but you also want to choose a great outfit for your date as well. If you are going to a restaurant with a bar, then I suggest that you do a nice skirt, or one with sparkles and a nice tank.

If you are going to a casual lunch, or doing an outdoor activity then I suggest you wear jeans and a nice simple top. Your outfit depends on the type of date you are going on and in order to know which outfit is appropriate remember to ask the person you are going out with. 

4. IF YOU WANT TO KNOW INFORMATION ABOUT HIM BEFORE THE DATE, ASK HIM YOURSELF DON'T HAVE YOUR FRIENDS, AND ETC. DO YOUR DIRTY WORK
When you go on your first date of course you want to know information about who you are meeting, but you should be brave enough to ask him yourself. Don't ever have your friends do like a behind the scenes profile on the guy because your date will go terrible.

5. MAKE SURE YOU ASK SIMPLE GET TO KNOW YOU QUESTIONS ON THE FIRST DATE
On the first date you want to make sure that you get to know a little bit about the person by asking them simple questions like did they go to college, what are their favorite hobbies,and etc. It is always a great idea to ask these type of questions because you can find out if you have some things in common and they are also great ice breakers.

6. TRY AND HELP TO PAY FOR THE DATE
On a first date it is important to at least try and help pay for the date. Even though most women think that men should pay for the date, the man will have a higher amount of respect for you if you offer to help pay for the lunch, or dinner.

7. GIVE THE PERSON YOU ARE ON A DATE WITH FEEDBACK ABOUT HOW YOU FELT DURING THE DATE
If you had a great time on your date, tell him that. If he feels the same way, he will most likely ask you if you would like to go on a second date with him. On the second date you can get to know him even more, which can lead into a possible relationship.

8. TRY NOT TO KISS ON A FIRST DATE, UNLESS HE GOES IN FOR ONE

On a first date you want to take things slow and by that I mean try not to kiss the person after the lunch or dinner you had with them. Now if you really like the person and he goes in for a kiss, then by all means feel free to kiss them back. RULE: MAKE SURE THAT IT IS A SIMPLE KISS AFTER THE DATE.

9. DON'T CONTACT HIM AFTER THE FIRST DATE
After the first the date you will probably have an urge to contact him, but give it some time. Let him reach out to you. Don't sit by your phone waiting hours for a phone call, and then verbally debating in your mind if you should call or not.


Some men like a woman to take charge, but most men want to relax after a date and then call you like the next day. If you call him a lot of times, he will think you are a weirdo and not hang out with you again.

10. GOSSIP WITH YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT THE DATE 

After conquering your first date, gossip with your best friends about it. Tell your friends the activity that you did and etc. They will be happy for you and excited to eventually meet the person when the time is right.

Steps on how to create your own food and dessert chart for the week!

Losing weight becomes an easy process if you keep up with your constant workouts and eating healthy, but in order to keep up with your amazing progress here are some steps to keep in mind when creating a food and dessert chart for the week.

1. Have a notebook, paper, or planner near your mirror with a log of the foods you ate
In order to keep track of all the food you ate in a day you need to write it down on a notebook, piece of paper, or a planner. This helps you see what foods you need to eat more often and etc.

2. Have a column sectioned off for dates in the week
On your paper make sure that you have a section with dates listed for that specific week. It should begin on Monday and should last until Sunday. If you don't have dates listed on your paper, then you will get confused on which foods you ate in one day.

3. Have a column sectioned off for the foods you eat (the main foods)
On your paper make sure that you not only have a section that includes the dates during the week, but also the main dishes you ate on a certain day. In this column if you ate a sandwich you should write down which type you ate, along with the vegetables that were on it, and etc. You follow the same method for the other main foods you eat as well.

3. Have a column sectioned off for the amount of foods you eat (portions)
Next to the food column, you need to have a section dedicated to the amount of a specific food that you ate (portion amount) during one meal. If you ate one sandwich, then write that down. If you had two spoonfuls of vegetables then write that down, and etc. This helps you also keep track of the calories you consumed.

4. Last but not least have your dessert section
For all the hard work that you put in for the week, it is only right that you treat yourself to a dessert. In the dessert section you can label which dessert you had for the week and by doing this you can see which ones you would like to try during the next week and etc.

If you make a mistake during a week by consuming too much of one food, don't worry. It takes time and practice to get used to changing around your diet. There is always a chance to make sure your health is on the right track and this chart is the major step in doing so. Some of the ideal qualities most women want a man to have!

When young women watch certain popular shows like "Teen Wolf", "The Vampire Diaries", "The Originals", "Beauty and the Beast", "Hit the Floor", or  even movies like "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants", the Twilight movies, and etc. they tend to swoon over the hot men and I am one of them. The men in these movies and shows have adorable personalities that most ladies want and here they are.

1. Physical figure
One of the qualities that instantly attracts a woman to a man is his physical appearance. If a man keeps his body in shape it sends a women the hint that he likes to keep his diet under control, which is a major plus in the dating factor!

2. Sense of humor
Another quality women want a man to have is a sense of humor. We want men to be serious at times, but we also want our man to cheer us up after a long day. 




3. Charm
A third quality that women like is for a man to be charming. Charming in the sense that they can be flirty and sweet. 

4. Spontaneous
A fourth quality that a woman likes a man to be is spontaneous on a date. Women like to be surprised, or just simply like to do a new activity once in awhile.

Five ideas to keep in mind while transitioning from college to the real world

Transitioning from being a college student to moving on up in the real world is hard to do, mostly because you are unsure about what is going to happen next. Here are five ideas to keep in mind after you finish college and are moving into the next phase in your life.

1. Take a small break to relax and have some fun

College is not a piece of cake so to speak, so it is important that after all the years that you studied that you take a nice break to relax and just unwind. Take this time out to read a book, hang out with friends, go on dates, and etc.

2. Keep an open mind

When the time comes to look for jobs apply to different ones not just in your career area, but regular jobs as well like store associate, clerical, server, and etc. Getting a career job takes a lot of time, so it is important to keep your options open and fill out a ton of applications to a large variety of jobs to see which one you get first.

3. Don't be afraid to work multiple jobs at once
Working multiple jobs may seem annoying and stressful, but the more you work the more money you can save up to buy essential things that you need in your life like a car, apartment, and etc.

4. Don't let anyone hold you back
I always had a "go getter" attitude and this is an important quality to have because it shows that when you want something you will do anything to get it. You want to work more jobs, volunteer, or make any beneficial changes in your life then go right ahead, don't let your partner, friends, and etc. stop you from accomplishing your goals and dreams!

5. Try something that you never did before


Now you may think that this falls under the keep an open mind quality and it does, but by trying something new, I mean be spontaneous. If you love acting and never tried it professionally, then go right ahead and go on an audition. If you love music, play some instruments and create your own. Want to go conquer a fear and shark dive at an aquarium (people can do that and you don't have to be a trainer), then go do it!

Overall just make sure that you are ready for the new change in your life, that you try new things, and have strong determination to move on to the next chapters in your life!

6 cool workout techniques that you can try at home or outdoors!

Here are some excellent work out techniques that are fun and easy to do in order to lose weight!

1. Make up your own dance routines
Dancing is one of the most exciting exercises to do in order to lose a lot of weight. You can choose your favorite song and make up your own personal dance routine like I do, instead of taking dance classes at a gym!

2. Walking on trails
Walking on trails is a great workout as well. It works out not only your legs, but keeps your heart going at a good pace as well.

3. Bike riding

Bike riding is a workout that is fantastic for getting your calve muscles in outstanding shape. It is also something that you can do with your friends or partner, which is a great bonding experience!

4. Karate

Karate is something that you may think can only be taught in classes, but that's partially true. You can learn it from an instructor, but you can also do your own karate punches and kicks like I do!

5. Yoga

Yoga is an exercise that is perfect for not just stretching all your muscles, but perfect for meditation as well. There are different types of yoga that you can do like Tai Chi, and etc. All of this information can be found online, and you can even watch videos on youtube.com to learn the different yoga techniques!

6. Swimming
Swimming is wonderful because it helps people of all ages to get fit. It is also a great exercise to ease into after a surgery because the smooth movements you make along with the water, eases your muscles in your body!

Tips to keep in mind for getting back into the dating scene!

Getting back into the dating scene after being in a long relationship can be difficult,but here are five tips to help guide you in the right direction.

1. Go to a club, or party (friend or family party)

Going to a club, friend or family party will give you the opportunity to meet new people, including single people as well. If it is a pool party, you can show off your bathing suit and swimming skills to the person you are interested in!

2.  Go to a popular restaurant 

If you go to a popular restaurant you are guaranteed to meet some single men and women, especially during certain hours like during lunch time, or dinner.  If you don't know how to approach someone at a restaurant just give them some slight eye contact, and make some conversation.

3. Plan a beach trip with your friends (and tell them to bring along some single people)

Planning a beach trip with your friends, and asking them to bring some single friends along with them, is a perfect way to start getting into the dating scene again. Going to the beach is usually an all day type of trip and when your friends are in the water, you can make your move on the cutie you had your eyes glued to!

4. Reach out to people on social networks(after you met them in person at least once)
Reconnecting with someone that you like through a social network like Twitter, or Facebook is wonderful because you can get to know how social they are. You can also look at their pictures to see what activities they enjoy doing, and etc.

5. Go work out at the gym, or park
Working out is not only an excuse to get your body looking and feeling right, but is also a great method for meeting new people! At the gym you are bound to run into a couple of attractive single people and you also have a bigger chance in developing a conversation with them if you work on the same equipment.

In order to meet someone at the park, you have to try and not just focus on your workout, but also on the people around you. Keep your eye out for anyone that is single and working out alone, then make your move, just make sure that they are not too old for you!

Whatever dating tips/advice you follow, just make sure that what you do is safe and that the person turns out to be a well rounded nice individual!

Five beneficial tips on how to study for big exams

While you are continuing your education, there is one thing that teachers, or professors constantly give their students and that is exams. Exams can be either easy, or difficult depending on the course you are taking. Here are five tips or techniques that helped me when it became time to study for a big test like a midterm, or final.

1. Take thorough notes in your class lectures so you can have it when you study for your exam
Taking notes in classes is very important so you can keep track of everything that your professor taught on a specific day. Lecture notes also help because they break down the chapters of your textbook.

2. Highlight important content in your textbook
Highlighting important content in your textbook is a great tool for remembering content from each chapter so you can ask, or answer questions the next day of classes. It is also important because professors will ask questions on exams based on some of the chapter content from your textbook.

3. Form a study group, or invite your friends over so you can study together for exams

If you are having trouble with some of the content in your class, reach out to a classmate so they can help you understand the material. If you have an exam review (which most professors give you), you can work on it together with the person in your group and it will help the both of you score high on your exams.

4. Make sure that you find a peaceful place to study
In order to make sure you have no distractions while preparing for an exam, find a quiet or peaceful place to study. Two places that I found great to study in while I was attending college, was the Starbucks Cafe and Library. Now you are probably thinking that Starbucks is probably a loud environment, but it was actually pretty mellow and I was able to get a lot done while studying in the cafe.

5. Make sure that you take breaks

In order to keep your mind from going crazy with all the material that you have to cover for an exam, make sure that you take breaks once in awhile during your studying session. When I took breaks during my studying sessions I would drink an ice coffee, particularly Vanilla flavor (from Starbucks), I would eat a bagel, and just listen to some music to get me back into a non stressful energetic mode. Trust me this definitely works!
